never thought that leaving would be this hard.
for 249 days, i've survived my days as a barista at Starbucks.

i myself, is a lover of Starbucks' coffee.
so as my sister.
out of passion, she got her job as a part time barista in KL,
and encouraged me to join this company too.
i was so kiasu back then,
wanted this job so desperately till the extent i applied and went for job interview weeks before my major exam.
i was really lucky enough to be hired, and to be hired along with my omma.
First day of work; 20.12.2012.

i was so estatic to be able to be part of the crew, to be part of the store.
i mean, working at a place you really like,
how can you not be happy ?

initially i never thought i would go this far with this store you know.
was thinking if i really got so pressured i'd just leave.
but then i remembered telling Kak Wern; my store manager, i would be able to work till September,
and so i sticked to that promise and told myself to never quit no matter what shit happens.

shit happens a lot,
as you can see i did some rantings in the previous months,
actually there is more but then i got all used to it and there's no point jotting down my anger.
one or two to remind myself is enough lmao
so many unhappy moments with partners and customers and i really flt so fed up.
mostly customers are the ones who made me get on my nerves zzz
never listen one thought they very clever wtf
but then in such service line plus how my company prioritize their customers,
everything impossible also need to say can do loh.
and then how customers always take the ice cups like nobody's business,
seriously screw you.
so many plastic cups you take just to put water wtf ?
you know each cup cost 2 ringgit or not ?
everytime have to throw so many plastics away,
wait till one day your house is flooded by undegeneratable plastic,
then only you know.
tissues also you all want to take a whole stack and then not use it,
drip i drip of water and cannot be reused already.
hello you think woods very easy to get now ?
so much plastics and papers wasted for your own sake,
if mother earth really die one day,
it'll get back to you.
so sorry i'm a very environmental person.
i rather trouble ourselves than to waste so many unnecessary things.
and then
(sorry gossip about customers again)
order repeated you nod and then can tell us wrong drink,
name stated on cup and name called when drink is ready also can mixed up,
confirmed nothing to order dy , after punching in the bill then say wanna order somemore and insist only one bill,
take everything extra and then ended up wasting them all,
noisy as hell ( i remembered 2 gangs like that walao),
and so much more i can say about them.
and if anything goes wrong,
we take all the blame because customers forever right one.
complain a lil then all of us also susah haih

got fussy customers, also got good one lah.
can name plenty of them,
thank you for being so kind and nice towards us.

so very polite and everything also okay one.
best customers in the world !

actually got my patience level upgrade all thanks to working.
my tolerating skills also wanna reach max dy haha
all thanks to my partners who mould me in a good way.
they thought me the spirit of helping each other and then be in everything together.
sometimes there are conflicts among us but then it'd be resolve well.
and there are times where i keep them deep down and set them free in two hours' time lol
